AQUATREAT's PROBIOTIC program is a total treatment for cooling waters without biocides. The treatment prevents corrosion, deposits and microbiology without the presence of biocides or harmful products. The unique product we use for this creates a synergy between its various components and ensures a total treatment for both closed, open and flow-through systems. Furthermore, the prescribed treatment removes various conditions for the growth of the legionella bacteria through a multi-barrier technique: through proper control and monitoring of the cooling water, the natural pH without acid dosing, the prevention of biofilm and a natural bacterial balance in your cooling water. Simple
Systematic dosing of only one product, ensuring high performance and reliability. The dosage can be controlled via a water pulse counter, but can also be easily checked and dosed on an online measurement.

It is not necessary to dose acid for a pH reduction, this makes it easier to use and store and there are no risks for the environment, the system or the operators.

Key components in the products for PROBIOTIC treatment are biodispersants and surfactants, which keep the wall surface of the system free of deposits and biofilm. Due to the absence of biofilm, the legionella bacteria also have less chance to grow and develop. The total germ count stabilizes naturally to values of a maximum of 10,000 – 20,000 CFU/ml, which are normal values for cooling water. The water composition obtained and the specific corrosion inhibitors ensure a particularly low corrosion rate, in the absence of aggressive components such as acid and chlorine.
